Dear residents, the emergency management Department of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk informs You that every year floods cause great material damage

You can't cancel them, but you can and should take care in advance that they cause as little harm as possible.  First of all, citizens themselves should take care of their personal safety and security of their property.

If you live in an area that is often affected by floodwaters, you should:

- necessary to worry about the drainage of melt water, to clear the ditch at their homes;

- do not carry out unauthorized dumping of garbage and ash into streambeds, which leads to water congestion, and consequently to possible flooding; -to clear the surrounding area of snow;

- prepare the material at hand to perform the boning of the house territory (bags, soil, sand, clay).

- put all the most valuable things and documents, as well as warm clothing, food and water in a special "alarm" suitcase or backpack, packing them in waterproof plastic bags.
