All of Kazakhstan today celebrates the Day of the outstanding thinker Abay Kunanbayev. Since the beginning of the year, in the homeland of Abai, in East Kazakhstan, there has been a reconstruction of significant cultural and historical sites, as well as the construction of new ones.

For example, in Semey, the reconstruction of the square, theater and Museum named after Abay is being completed.

The square has acquired a completely new look, the monument to the writer has been restored. Despite the complete reconstruction of the theater, it was possible to preserve its historical feature. Landscaping, interior and exterior finishing is carried out. The temple of art became spacious and bright. Residents and guests of the city will find a new stage and an auditorium. The Abay Museum will also soon open its doors to visitors. A monument to Abay and his sons will be erected on its territory.

At the stage of completion, restoration work is underway on the territory of the mausoleum complex "Abay-Shakarim" in the zhidebay tract. Renovated library named after Abay in Semey.

In akshoky, where the necropolis of the ancestors of the outstanding thinker is located, the construction of the kunanbai dynasty Museum is being completed. Also, in the village of Karauyl, the construction of a new school for 300 places will be completed this month.
