New housing for fire victims under construction in Ridder

A total of 32 residential buildings will be built. Construction companies VK Invest Company, Oblshygyszhol, Qk Sunqar, Vostokvzryvprom, Kazprofstroy Holding undertook to build new houses for Ridder residents affected by a major fire at their own expense.

Each of the enterprises will build 6-7 houses. Construction is already in full swing, somewhere the foundation is ready, somewhere the walls have already been erected. According to the management of one of the investor companies, Vostokvzryvprom LLP, only their company will invest about 100 million tenge for construction and installation works.

"All standards, all GOST standards were taken into account when designing. We build everything according to the norms. We made the foundation, now we make a concrete seismic belt, the calculation is carried out on 9-10 points. We build from gas blocks. In terms of ecology, the gas block and the tree are the leading ones. Bricks are three times inferior to them in terms of earthquake resistance, strength, and fire resistance, "says Valery Proskurin, Director of Capital Construction at Vostokvzryvprom LLP.

Housing, the Mayor's office of Ridder reported, will be well-maintained. Each house will cost 12.8 million tenge. For comparison, the total estimated cost of all burned houses, according to the city administration, amounted to 19 million tenge.

The area of the currently built-up territory is 4 hectares with infrastructure. 480 million tenge will be allocated for the supply of electricity, central water supply, and landscaping, says Elena Maslakova, head of the Department of Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction of Ridder.

The place for the construction was not chosen by chance, the mayor's office of the city added. Here in the future there will be a new microdistrict of Botany, where it is planned to build over 1000 residential buildings in stages.

"We are grateful to everyone. A lot of people responded to our misfortune. Here are more houses being built, we like the layout. We come and see how the construction is going. We are satisfied, " says Oksana Sokolova, a resident of Ridder.

A resident of the city, Kairat Isenev, says that he was not at home when the fire spread to residential buildings. My wife miraculously managed to escape. The fire destroyed the house, garage, car.

"While temporarily living in a hostel. Here we are waiting for housing. Construction is progressing at a good pace. A week ago, there was a steppe. Now the construction site is booming. We control the construction site ourselves, and the mayor's office controls it, " he says.

Recall that on May 10 this year, as a result of a large fire on the territory of the Central Ridder Forestry, which quickly spread to residential buildings in the nearby village of Leskhoz, one person was killed, two were hospitalized with serious burns, and several dozen houses were destroyed by fire. Humanitarian aid was coming from all over Kazakhstan and money was being collected for the victims of the fire.
