The head of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning of East Kazakhstan Region Asset Suleimenov during a live broadcast on the Altai TV channel shared with viewers about the activities of the department for the past 2020.

"The pandemic has made its own adjustments in all areas of our lives. Like all of us, we are experiencing certain difficulties, but nevertheless, the plans of last year were fully implemented, " Asset Suleimenov said.

For example, last year, the effect of the Employment Roadmap program became significant in the region, and a serious construction momentum was recorded-which significantly affected many indicators, including economic ones. The program covers the areas of health, education, culture and sports. Thus, 817 projects were implemented in the region and 5,458 people were employed in cooperation with the employment authorities. Of these, in 2020, 33 projects worth 27.5 billion tenge were implemented through the Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning of East Kazakhstan Region.

By the way, the implementation of construction projects will continue this year under the Employment Roadmap program, and the list of projects is currently being approved accordingly. Sports, health, education and culture projects will be covered without fail.
