Preparation for the Flood Period

As part of the month of anti-flood activities, on February 24, 2025, employees of the Department of Emergency Situations and Fire Department No. 30 of the Kurchum District organized a visit to the settlements at risk of flooding, such as Kurchum, Birlik, Maraldy, and Barak Batyr. During this visit, the akims (heads) of the rural districts were handed out warnings regarding preparations for the flood period. They were informed about safety measures during the flood period, the rules of behavior in case of flood threats to settlements, evacuation from dangerous areas, as well as the notification process and gathering points.

The rules for self-action in case of flooding were also explained. Recommendations were provided for cleaning residential areas from snow and debris.
