Attention, residents of the district!

Due to the large amount of snow in the mountainous part of the district, a difficult flood situation is developing. The emergency services are warning you to stay vigilant. Monitor the water levels in the bodies of water near your homes. On your private properties, take the following actions to ensure the unobstructed flow of floodwaters:

• Clear nearby streams and ditches of debris and ice.
• Create drainage channels on your property.
• Prepare materials for protecting your home (bags, soil, sand, clay).

Prepare an emergency bag or backpack with essential items, a small supply of food, and drinking water. Place your documents in a waterproof container.

Move valuable items and food supplies from basements to the attic or a flood-free area.

Carefully follow the information in the media and the signals from sirens, as well as the intermittent horns of factories and vehicles.

If an evacuation warning is issued due to a potential flood, do not hesitate and leave your premises toward the designated evacuation points.

If you notice an increase in water levels, immediately report it by calling 101, 23-583, 22-016, or the local emergency services and executive bodies.
