On October 1, Kazakhstan celebrated the International Day of Older Persons. In honor of this holiday, the East Kazakhstan Region branch of the State Corporation organized an event. On this day, employees of the Public Service Centers (PSCs) congratulated the older generation and issued pension certificates.
It is worth noting that on this day, around 40 service recipients visit the branch’s front offices for pension appointments. Across the country, approximately 800 citizens sought services on the Day of Older Persons. The highest number of pension certificates was issued in the city of Almaty and the Turkestan region, while the lowest number was issued in the Ulytau region.
As of today, Kazakhstan has around 2.5 million pensioners, with more than 140,000 residing in the East Kazakhstan Region.
Additionally, during the issuance of pension certificates, service recipients noted the high level of state service provision and the convenience of the services.
