Fire safety during haymaking

The Department of Emergency Situations of the Kurchum District reminds about compliance with fire safety measures during haymaking.

Residents of the district, heads of farms, owners and tenants of land plots, in order to prevent fires, it is necessary to take the following precautions:

-do not allow motor vehicles and tractors to operate that are not equipped with spark extinguishing devices, with fuel and lubricant leaks in the fuel and hydraulic systems that are not equipped with fire extinguishing means;

-do not leave unextinguished fires, smoldering cigarette butts and matches;

-fully harvest coarse fodder on owned and leased hayfields.
