With the support of the Science Foundation JSC, a commercialization project No. AP15573704 is being implemented from 2022-2024: “Artificial reproduction, cultivation, and sale of white carp fingerlings in the conditions of the second and third fish-breeding zones.” This project is being carried out by the grant recipient, Bukhtarma Spawning and Rearing Farm LLP, in the East Kazakhstan region.
The main issue with the introduction of grass carp into pond fish farming in fish farming zone III was the problem of its reproduction. The measures we developed allowed us to obtain our own planting material using the factory method. The issue of the possibility of breeding grass carp in pond conditions of the III fish-breeding zone was successfully resolved and introduced into production.
Additionally, BNVH LLP cooperates with the Research and Production Center for Fisheries LLP, which provides scientific support during the artificial reproduction of grass carp.
As part of the commercialization project, a number of repairs were carried out at BNVH LLP. In particular, the fish hatchery was completely renovated, specialized equipment, special clothing, office equipment, 13 units of specialized equipment, and modern laboratory equipment were purchased. Furthermore, a new workplace was opened, contributing to an increase in the number of employees. Today, the enterprise provides 30 jobs to the local population.
