Probation Service № 1 of Kurchum District

From June 15 to June 25, 2020, the Republic of Kazakhstan carries out preventive measures “Conditionally convicted”, in fulfillment of the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 27, 2018 № 176 and execution of paragraph 86 of the Plan of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2019 and the effectiveness of the interaction between the police unit and employees probation services, also for the control and prevention of repeated crimes among convicted persons registered in the probation service.

Probation Service № 1 of the Kurchum District of the Department of Penitentiary Administration for East Kazakhstan Region , together with representatives of the Kurchum District Prosecutor’s Office, organized a meeting with convicts registered with Probation Service № 1 of the Kurchum District. The main objective is to prevent repeated crimes among convicts registered with the probation service. The deputy prosecutor of the Kurchum region repeatedly explained the procedure for the execution of sentences and recidivism for which they could be held accountable.

They also brought to the attention of citizens who are registered answers to the issues of concern to them, and this is employment, receiving any social assistance, training, retraining courses and mastering professions, receiving guaranteed medical care.

Convicts asked various questions of concern to them and received comprehensive answers from the representatives of the above-mentioned state bodies during the meetings.
