By the decision of the chief sanitary doctor of the East Kazakhstan region, from June 1 in the city of Semey, population service centers will resume their work.

Due to the continuing danger of the spread of coronavirus, Semey PSCs will provide only “paper” services that are not available in electronic format, and issue the results of services issued online on the egov.kz portal.

A visit to the PSC will be possible only if the queue is booked in advance through a special service on the egov.kz portal, the eGovKzBot2.0 telegram bot or by calling 1414.

According to Azamat Yesembulov, director of the "Government for Citizens" branch in the East Kazakhstan region, the danger of contracting a coronavirus infection has not passed. “Measures for pre-booking the queue have been taken solely to ensure the safety of Semey residents. Also, when visiting the centers, it is important to observe the mask regime, ”said Yesembulov.

He also added that more than 80% of public services can be obtained in online format on the e-government portal egov.kz, the eGovKzBot2.0 telegram bot and through the eGovMobile mobile application. The service for issuing electronic signatures to individuals and legal entities, recently transferred to the online format, will also be provided only online.

For those citizens who do not have access to a computer, 28 self-service corners egov.kz outside the PSC buildings are open in Semey and nearby rural districts. They are located in the buildings of the city akim apparatus, city libraries and in the buildings of rural akimats. As soon as other organizations start working in Semey, the number of such corners will increase.

At the same time, 3 categories of citizens will be able to receive electronic services in PSCs as before - these are pensioners, large families, persons with disabilities. They will have a preferential window at each front office. They also need to book their visit to the PSC in advance.

As a reminder, persons with disabilities can call a PSC employee at home by calling the Contact Center 1414.

It should be noted that the changes will affect only the operation of the service centers for the population of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semey. PSCs, located in regional centers and in rural areas, will work unchanged.
