Protect nature from fire

When everything is burning around, it is very scary. It is even more frightening when a fire occurs in a forest or in the steppe, covering vast areas.

Forests contain a lot of combustible materials and are potential sources of fires. Usually it occurs during a period of increased fire hazard, causing enormous damage. Most forest fires occur due to careless handling of fire by people. The cause of the fire may be an unextinguished fire, a burning match thrown on a dry litter. People are strictly prohibited, in order to prevent fires in the natural environment:

- To make a bonfire in dense thickets.

- Set fire to reeds;

- Burn dry grass in forest glades, in fields, under trees: - Fire should be lit in specially designated places.

- It is desirable that there is water near the fire, as well as tools for filling the flame in case of spread of burning.

- When visiting the forest, people should avoid smoking. Remember! That dry grass can ignite from an unquenched cigarette and cause a fire. - If a natural fire is detected, try to eliminate the source of fire on your own, if this is not possible, you must immediately inform the fire department about the fire by calling “101”.
