Brief results of the socio-economic development of the region in January-July 2023

Real sector of the economy. The volume of industrial production in January-July 2023 increased by 136.9% compared to the corresponding period in 2022, which was due to an increase in production volumes in the manufacturing industry by 112.4%.

          The volume of retail trade turnover during the reporting period amounted to 3127.0 million tenge and increased by 101.7% compared to the same period in 2022.

          The volume of investments in fixed assets amounted to 14,763.4 million tenge. Taking into account the price index, investments in fixed capital increased by 2.2 times compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

            The volume of housing commissioned during the reporting period amounted to 3246 sq.m. The total area increased by 103.9% compared to the corresponding period last year.

            As of August 1, 2023, 213 business and other entities were included in the Statistical Register of Legal Entities in the district, including 203 (95.3%) small enterprises, 8 (3.7%) medium-sized enterprises, 2 (0.9%) large. 44.1% of subjects are registered with state ownership, 55.9% with private ownership.

           Prices. The consumer price index, which characterizes the overall inflation rate, amounted to 106.4% for July 2023. Prices for food products increased by 6.4%, non-food products - by 6.9%, services - by 5.8%.
