Hay harvesting and roughage harvesting are in full swing today. Hot, dry and windy weather at the time of work, a large number of agricultural machinery and fuels and lubricants create a fire hazard. The Department of Emergency Situations of the Kurchum District warns of the following rules to avoid the occurrence of fires and to prevent the destruction of property. It is not allowed: 1) storage on the roofs of sheds and other outbuildings; 2) storage under power lines; 3) storage at a distance of less than 3 meters from the external fence of the site; 4) place haystacks, haystacks, stacks of hay, straw, other types of roughage on the streets, roads, outside personal plots. Transportation of roughage is carried out on a specially equipped vehicle, the exhaust pipes of which are led under the radiator and equipped with spark arresters, also equipped with two powder fire extinguishers. The height of storage of roughage should be no more than 4 meters.
