APPEAL OF THE CENTRAL ELECTION COMMISSION OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN
DEAR VOTERS! March 19, 2023 elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament and maslikhats of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The guarantee of realization of the constitutional right to participate in elections is your inclusion in the list of voters.
Lists are compiled by local executive bodies (akimats) on the basis of permanent registration at the place of residence on the territory of a particular polling station. Citizens who do not have permanent registration are included in the lists on the basis of an application submitted to the akimats at their location.
Every citizen who will not be able to arrive on voting day at the polling station at the place of his registration, no later than thirty days before voting day or on February 17, 2023, has the right to submit an application to the relevant akimat and register at the polling station at the place of his actual location.
Upon receipt of an appeal, the akimat organizes the exclusion of a citizen from the list of voters at the place of registration and his inclusion in the list of the polling station where he will vote.
This right can be exercised by:
- citizens who know that on the voting day they will not be at the place of registration;
- non-resident students studying in higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, living outside the dormitories;
- Citizens working on a rotational basis.
A citizen can only be included in one list of voters, taking into account a single nationwide electoral district, as well as single-seat territorial electoral districts.
You can check whether you are included in the list of voters at the place of registration through the website or the Call Center of the relevant akimat.
You will be given the opportunity to check your details on the voter list in your precinct from March 4, 2023.
Dear voters!
We urge you to show legal literacy and exercise your constitutional right to participate in elections!
EVERYONE'S VOICE IS IMPORTANT!
