The meeting of the election commission was held

On March 16 of this year, the third meeting of the Kurchum regional territorial election commission was held, at which the issues of drawing up a budget application for the election campaigns of 2020 "Elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and deputies of maslikhats of all levels in the East Kazakhstan region" were considered, about the tasks of ensuring interaction commissions, local executive and representative bodies, public associations to create the necessary and sufficient conditions for the implementation of the electoral rights of citizens with disabilities during elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the meeting, the first issue of the agenda was heard the information of the chief accountant of the administration of the akim of the Kurchum region on the budget application for the election campaigns in 2020.
On the second issue, it was proposed to envisage measures at all stages of the preparation and conduct of the election campaign to ensure the voting process, including the organization of systematic work to clarify information about voters with disabilities, to provide additional equipment for voting premises in which voting is planned, to inform and legal education of this category of voters.
It was also noted that the work of the commission continues to identify vacancies in PECs and measures to elect members of commissions instead of those who left.
The members of the commission took note of the information, it was proposed to continue systematic work in these areas.
