The State Corporation "Government for Citizens" in the East Kazakhstan region warns of cases of fraudulent activities that have become more frequent over the past month, when unknown persons call citizens, introduce themselves as employees of public service centers and ask to pay off debts or they will block accounts due to debt. In addition, they ask for personal data ostensibly for verification.

          In this regard, we inform you that the employees of the “Government for Citizens” do not call residents, do not have access to debtor databases, and are not involved in the work of collection companies.

          “Any communication between the “Government for Citizens” and service recipients can only take place through SMS notifications to the number 1414, where citizens can be notified about the available reservation, the expiration of documents, the date of issue or requests for composite services,” the press release said service of the branch "Government for Citizens" in East Kazakhstan region.

          The State Corporation "Government for Citizens" strongly recommends that you be vigilant and not disclose your personal data to third parties. Victims of such fraudulent activities may contact law enforcement agencies.
