The Government for Citizens State Corporation, together with HalykBank, has launched the process of withdrawing real estate collateral using blockchain technology. Now bank customers can withdraw their property from pledge without contacting public service centers.

HalykBank clients can now withdraw collateral from their real estate without contacting public service centers. This was made possible through the use of blockchain technology.

“Customers can apply for the withdrawal of the deposit directly in the HalykHomebank mobile application, where they can also pay for the order electronically and receive the finished result. Using the service reduces the waiting time for the result from three days to several minutes, frees customers from collecting paperwork and contacting public service centers,” the press service of the Government for Citizens branch in East Kazakhstan region noted.

By the way, thanks to the blockchain technology, physical contact of citizens with the employees of the public service center is also excluded, which ensures the protection of data from transfer to third parties.

It is noted that the service of registration of the termination of the encumbrance on real estate is one of the most demanded among the residents of the East Kazakhstan region. For 9 months of the current year, 2940 pledges in the region were terminated through appeals to public service centers.
