In 2022, there were cases of failure of the roofs of buildings in a number of regions of Kazakhstan.

             In the course of the analysis of incidents, it was found that the main cause of the destruction of roofs is the lack of repair, the use of low-quality roofing materials for repair, or a violation of the installation of elements during construction or major repairs.

             It should be noted that the failure of the roofs of multi-storey residential buildings causes a public outcry, often residents apply to bodies that cannot legally declare a state of emergency and cannot allocate funds from the reserve.

            In addition, strong winds contribute to damage to electrical networks, which negatively affects the livelihoods of most of the population.

           Thus, today it is required to intensify work to reduce risks due to hazardous meteorological phenomena.

             In this regard, the heads of state bodies and organizations need to organize work in this direction.

             Property owners need to take preliminary measures to strengthen, repair and replace roof elements of buildings and residential buildings.
