Land surveyors celebrate their professional holiday

Every year on the 3rd week of March, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of Land Management, Geodesy and Cartography.

The introduction of the state land cadastre, the determination of the boundaries of land plots, the development of projects for changing the boundaries of settlements, the installation of local boundaries of settlements - all this is carried out by land surveyors, surveyors and cartographers.

Soil scientists carry out soil and geobotanical research, determine the soil bonitet score, carry out certification of land plots, and provide interested parties with information from the state land cadastre. All these specialists work in the branch of the state corporation "Government for Citizens" in the East Kazakhstan region.

Last year, more than 16,000 public services were provided in the Land Cadastre direction in 2021. Including various services rendered: "Preparation and issuance of acts of land plots", "Coordination of the projected land plot with graphic data of the automated information system of the state land cadastre", "Provision of information from the state land cadastre".

"This week is our holiday, a number of land surveyors who contributed to the implementation of the state policy on land use were awarded medals, letters of thanks from the leadership of the State Corporation and the Department of Land Management. Today, modern technologies and innovations are being introduced into the workflow in this area, productivity is increasing "Public services have switched to digital format, the delivery time has been reduced.
