The Emergency Situations Department of the Kurchumsky District warns that with the onset of the flowering period of poplars, the fire danger increases sharply. Streets, squares and houses are covered with poplar fluff, through windows and doors it penetrates into apartments and houses. It is worth bringing a match - and the fluff flares up like gunpowder.
A common cause of fires from poplar fluff is children's prank with fire, so children should be reminded as often as possible that poplar fluff is not an object of fun, there is a danger in it. A fire can run a long distance through the fluff and, finding some quickly combustible material, start a fire.
We advise parents to take care of the leisure of their children in advance, explain the danger of playing with fire, and not allow them to play with matches. Only constant attention from parents and adults can be a reliable guarantee of preventing fires from children's pranks with fire.
