Safe use of pyrotechnic products

Safe use of pyrotechnic products

New Year is the most significant family holiday in the life of each of us. It is always accompanied by a good mood, best wishes and lots of gifts. And of course, on this holiday, salutes and fireworks cannot be dispensed with, the safe use of which every person should know. Pyrotechnics were originally created to give people pleasure. Fireworks, salutes and other pyrotechnic products have been used in our country for a long time to create a feeling of a holiday, a miracle. And in inept and irresponsible hands, even the most harmless thing can become deadly. Therefore, to avoid burns, injuries, fires and other unpleasant emergencies that can overshadow the festive mood, follow these rules when using pyrotechnics:
Buy pyrotechnics: fireworks, fireworks and other pyrotechnic products only in specialized stores, and not from hands or in markets where you can be sold counterfeit goods.
It is impossible to arrange fireworks or salutes closer than 20 meters from residential premises or flammable objects, under low canopies and tree crowns.
Do not hold the wick near the face during ignition.
Light the wick at arm's length. It burns for 6-8 seconds. A spark that has flown off a firework is difficult to extinguish, so if it gets on the skin, a burn is guaranteed.
You can not send rockets and fireworks at people. Rockets are high-risk pyrotechnics. Sometimes, when planted in snow, the rocket can roll, change direction and fly into the crowd. Therefore, when using pyrotechnic products such as rockets, care must be taken to ensure that their launch tubes are securely fixed to the ground.
Salutes or fireworks should not be used in strong winds.
Children should not be allowed to play with pyrotechnics. Pyrotechnic products are not a toy for children!
You can not drop pyrotechnic products, and even more so deliberately throw them at your feet.
You can not start fireworks with your hands (except crackers and sparklers).
Do not approach lit salutes or fireworks closer than the safe distance specified in the instructions for its use.
Fireworks must not be carried in pockets.
You can't lean over fireworks.
Each pyrotechnic product is supplied with instructions for its use. Take a couple of minutes to read this manual carefully. This will protect you from erroneous actions when using pyrotechnics.
Remember! Most accidents in the use of fireworks occur due to irresponsibility and thoughtlessness. Take care of yourself, the health and life of your loved ones and those around you! In the event of a fire or other emergencies, call "101", "112".
