In the East Kazakhstan Region, applications are still being accepted for preferential loans under the “Auyl Amanaty” program, which supports the development of rural entrepreneurship.
The program provides assistance for projects in livestock farming, poultry farming, tourism, agricultural product processing, as well as other non-agricultural activities in rural districts.
Loan terms:
- Up to 5 yearsfor non-agricultural projects;
- Up to 7 yearsfor agricultural and processing projects.
Loan amounts:
- For individual entrepreneurs and peasant farms — up to 2,500 MCI;
- For processing industry projects — up to 8,000 MCI;
- For agricultural cooperatives — up to 8,000 MCI;
- For repeat applications — up to 8,000 MCI(provided the previous loan has been fully repaid and at least half of the original loan term has passed).
The interest rate does not exceed 2.5% per year.
A grace period of up to 12 months is provided on the principal.
Providing collateral is a mandatory condition for participation.
Projects implemented under the program must create new jobs and align with the priority directions for rural development.
The “Auyl Amanaty” program is a practical tool of state support, enabling residents of the region to start their own business, expand existing operations, and increase employment in rural areas.
