Operating rules for stove heating

Employees of the OShS of the Kurchum district, PCh №30 p. Kurchum and PP №45 p. In Markakol, raids are being carried out in order to prevent the facts of fire and death of people from carbon monoxide poisoning. Basically, these cases occur with the onset of frost, when the heating of stoves on liquid and solid fuels increases, and the population forgets about basic safety rules. Also, the causes of carbon monoxide poisoning can be a violation of the rules for operating the stove heating (untimely closing of the stove damper, insufficient access of fresh air to the firebox, poor draft), malfunctioning of the stove and chimney (cracks in the structure of the stove, clogged chimney).

In order to prevent these facts, since the beginning of this year, 4274 houses were visited in the Kurchum region and 6361 people were covered. During the raid events, fire safety briefings were conducted by residents of the houses and reminders were presented. And also, 100 families of socially vulnerable segments of the population have been installed with urine gas sensors.
