Preparation for the heating season

The rule "Forewarned means armed" strictly works in all spheres of our life. And even if it seems that there is still time to prepare – and in the case of the upcoming heating season at +20 degrees outside the window, you don't want to think about it – nevertheless, some work needs to be done now.Every year, along with the onset of the heating period, the number of fires in the private sector increases due to malfunction or violation of the rules of operation of electric heaters and furnace heating. Therefore, we remind you to observe the safety rules when heating furnaces.

Before the start of the heating season, the furnaces need to be inspected and repaired.

Chimneys and other elements of heating furnaces must be cleaned of soot at least once a month before the start of the heating season, as well as during the heating season.

Drying of things and firewood is prohibited on stoves, as well as kindling with flammable liquids is not allowed.

In front of each door, a sheet metal of at least 50x70 cm in size should be laid.

All pipes and walls in the attic must be plastered and whitewashed channel passages.

Firewood should be stored in a specially equipped room or in specially designated places no closer than eight meters from combustible structures.

It is forbidden to collect fodder and hay yeast on the roofs of sheds and other farms.

Uncontrolled burning of garbage near houses and cottages is prohibited.
