Monitoring of pages in social networks of heads of state institutions

The project office of «Katonkaragai-Adaldyk alany» monitored the pages in social networks of managers and specialists of state institutions for compliance with the norms of official ethics by civil servants. The content of 122 accounts of employees of state agencies was studied. More than 11 photos and 1 video of questionable content were identified on the accounts of 12 people. To date, all the identified shortcomings have been eliminated.
«Civil servants should not give rise to criticism from society by their actions and behavior. In this regard, civil servants are not allowed to post compromising materials on social media, including photos and videos from entertainment and gambling establishments, places of foreign recreation, against the background of expensive cars and interiors, with demonstrations of expensive jewelry and other luxury items,»- the Agency said in response to a request from the project office.
It should be noted that it is not allowed to post photographs and videos about antisocial behavior (including being in public places in a state of intoxication that offends human dignity and public morality), erotic and pornographic content, with the image of gestures that offend morality, as well as against the background of weapons or with them.
In addition, obscene language and profanity, disrespectful attitude to state symbols, propaganda of ethnic and religious discord, unethical statements addressed to state officials and other civil servants, as well as statements that do not correspond to the main directions of state policy are unacceptable on the accounts of civil servants in social networks.
According to the Code of Ethics of Civil Servants, approved by Presidential Decree No. 153 of December 29, 2015, public service is an expression of special trust on the part of society and the state and places high demands on the moral and ethical appearance of civil servants.
