The head of the department spoke on the issues of providing the population with drinking water

On May 26, 2021, a meeting of the East Kazakhstan regional akimat was held in an online format.

The meeting heard the report of the head of the Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services of East Kazakhstan Region Akyshov A. T. on the issue «On the implementation of projects on centralized water supply and sanitation for 2020-2024».

This year, 112 projects for the construction and reconstruction of water supply and sanitation have been launched. The work is carried out according to the schedule of work. By the end of 2021, it is planned to put into operation 98 facilities, which will additionally provide 49.6 thousand people with clean drinking water.

Following the meeting, Akim of the region Akhmetov D. K., instructed the Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services and akimats of cities and districts to strengthen control over the quality of work at construction sites and ensure timely commissioning of water supply and sanitation facilities planned for completion in 2021.
