How is the social benefit for temporary disability paid?

According to the Order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 30, 2015 No. 907 "On approval of the Rules for the appointment and payment of social benefits for temporary disability", an employee presents a temporary disability certificate to the employer on the day of going to work specified in the temporary disability certificate, or before the end date of disability.

Sheets on temporary disability submitted for payment of benefits are submitted to the employer's accounting department.

The benefit is paid within the time limits established by the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the payment of wages.

In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 133 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the employer is obliged to pay employees social benefits for temporary disability at their own expense, regardless of the date of submission of the temporary disability certificate.
