Regional charity workshop “Alternative and special methods of inclusive support for children with special educational needs”

On May 16, 2025, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held a regional charity workshop titled “Alternative and special methods of inclusive support for children with special educational needs”. The event took place at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, as part of the project “Competence Center for psychological and pedagogical training and methodological-technological support for children with special educational needs”. Over 300 educators of educational organizations of the region participated in the charity workshop.  

A special exhibition was organized during the WORKSHOP, showcasing author-developed teaching methodologies, educational resources and technological tools designed to support children with disabilities, and the experience of specialists of Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultations. 

Moreover, the participats were invited on a guided tour of the Dana Bala Research and Innovation Laboratory, followed by a feedback session, where they received answers to their questions and noted the importance of the event.

All funds raised during the workshop will go toward the production of a professional defectologist’s table for the Regional Psychological-Medical-Pedagogical Consultation Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.
