Outcomes of regional seminar “Organizing safe and enriching summer break for children in 2025”

On April 25, 2025, Daryn East Kazakhstan Scientific and Methodological Center for Gifted and Supplementary Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional seminar titled “Organizing safe and enriching summer break for children in 2025”. The participants of the seminar:

1. Akylbek, Deputy Head of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;
2. Dyrymbayeva, Head of the Sector for Control and Supervision of Educational Facilities of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Department of East Kazakhstan region;

Major E. Tursyngaliyev, an officer of Civil Defense Administration of Emergency Situations Department of East Kazakhstan region;

1. Gylymmedden, Head of the Sector for Certification and Licensing of Medical Activities of East Kazakhstan Regional Department of the Committee of Medical and Pharmaceutical Control of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2. Rakhimzhanova, Head of the Sector for Control of Pharmaceutical Activities of East Kazakhstan Regional Department of the Committee of Medical and Pharmaceutical Control of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

Police Major A. Beisembayeva, a senior inspector for Special Assignments of Juvenile Police of the Local Police Service Administration of Police Department of East Kazakhstan region. 

The goal of the seminar was to organize and ensure the safety, well-being, and meaningful engagement of schoolchildren during their summer break, whether in rural camps or school-based camps.

During the seminar, the speakers discussed current issues of safe summer break for children and set key directions and prospects for further collaborative efforts in organizing summer programs for children in 2025.

The seminar was attended by 30 participants, including methodologists of the district and city education departments and directors of summer camps.

The issue of organizing summer holidays for children is under constant control of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.
