Legal awareness seminar for educational organizations of Glubokoe district on “Academic integrity”, “Ensuring anti-corruption culture”, “Preventing legal violations when using electronic digital signatures”, “Compliance of State Symbols with standards in educational organizations”

On April 22, 2025, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly of Education Department of Glubokoe district, held a legal awareness seminar on the topics “Academic integrity”, “Ensuring anti-corruption culture”, “Preventing legal violations when using electronic digital signatures”, “Compliance of State Symbols with standards in educational organizations”The seminar took place for educational organizations of Glubokoe district, as part of the action plan to foster an anti-corruption culture and ensure compliance with national standards for State Symbols. During the meeting, G.A. Bekbayeva, a senior officer of the East Kazakhstan Regional Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan shared the latest updates in the anti-corruption legislation. She highlighted that accepting or offering gifts, or collecting money for various events within educational organizations, is strictly prohibited and subject to legal consequences under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. D. Kaldybayev, a chief expert-lawyer of Organizational Work and HR Department of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region explained the importance of upholding academic integrity in educational organizations and ways to preserve it, the role of heads of educational organizations in cultivating academic integrity, building an anti-corruption culture in public institutions, the proper use of electronic digital signatures, preventing offenses, responsibility provided by law, ensuring State Symbols in educational organizations in compliance with the State Standard of the Republic of Kazakhstan RK 988-2007 and the National Standard ST RK 989-2014.
