Talented children of Fibonacci International Robot Olympiad “FIRO-2025”

On March 15-16, 2025, the long-expected Fibonacci International Robot Olympiad (FIRO-2025) kicked off, bringing together 650 of the most talented teams from across the country!  

The Atom team, composed of 6th and 7th graders from School Lyceum No. 1 of Ridder town - E. Glazacheva, V. Buzankina, S. Nemtseva and K. Osherina, won the 2nd place at the Republican qualifying round of the International Olympiad in Sports Robotics “FIRO-2025” and, accordingly, received an invitation to compete in the international qualifying round in Antalya (Turkey).

The Android team, consisting of D. Kotvitskaya, L. Anselm and G. Antropova won the 4th place out of the 12 strongest teams of Kazakhstan, and based on the decision of the international judges also received an invitation to the qualifying round.

In April, these teams will represent Kazakhstan at the international level in sunny Antalya, Turkey.

It’s not just a competition, it’s a real celebration of technology, innovation and hard work!

The teams were prepared by Yuri B. Kotvitsky, a teacher of physics and robotics.
