Promoting skilled trades: Open day at AES Ust-Kamenogorsk Hydroelectric Power Plant LLP

On March 12, 2025, AES Ust-Kamenogorsk Hydroelectric Power Plant LLP hosted an Open Day for 9th graders in order to popularize working professions as part of implementing the plan for the Year of Skilled Trades in East Kazakhstan region.

The students toured Ust-Kamenogorsk Hydroelectric Power Plant, learning about the plant, the work of specialists who use modern technologies and equipment, and also receiving full information about the importance of their contribution to the development of the regional economy. Moreover, a quest game was held among schoolchildren, with winners receiving valuable prizes from the company and certificates for free training in the energy-related sector.

These career guidance activities help students figure out their future profession paths and become skilled professionals.
