Countering financial pyramids and preventing problem gambling

In today’s complex world where financial opportunities and risks intertwine like threads in a complex pattern, countering financial pyramids and preventing problem gambling are crucial challenges for society. These phenomena, lurking like shadows, promise easy money and instant pleasures, but ultimately leave them disappointed and empty-handed.  

On March 6, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Zhanerke R. Toktarbekova, a senior investigator of Economic Investigations Department of East Kazakhstan region, held an interactive webinar on the topic “Countering financial pyramids and preventing problem gambling”.

The webinar informed of the key signs of financial pyramids and ludomania, and carried out information and awareness-raising campaign.
