Online meeting with editors of children’s newspapers and magazines

On February 20, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online meeting with the editors of newspapers and magazines included in the Fund of Republican Children’s Publications, organized by the Republican Scientific and Pedagogical Library of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Y. Altynsarin National Academy of Education as part of implementing the Head of State K. Tokayev’s Reading School Project, and the Children’s Library Program, and the Project “Creative Intelligentsia to the Children of Kazakhstan” of the Ministries of Education, Culture, and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by parents, teachers, school librarians, primary schoolchildren, 5th to 9th graders, involving over 1,000 people across the region. At the creative meeting, the editorial team presented magazines, emphasized the importance of their reading in the process of education and upbringing, answered the participants’ questions and provided them with valuable feedback.

At the conclusion of the event, parents, teachers, and schoolchildren expressed gratitude and warm wishes to the organizers and editors.
