Regional round of Republican Pedagogical Olympiad “Talented teacher for gifted children”

On February 17, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held the regional round of the Republican Pedagogical Olympiad “Talented teacher for gifted children” among young teachers of educational organizations of the region. This event aimed to foster creative potential and self-development of young teachers, professional development and improvements to the education system.

18 young teachers with 0-5 years of work experience participated in the Olympiad, including the winners of district and city rounds, as well as representatives of regional educational organizations in the categories of counselors, psychologists and teachers.

During the Olympiad, participants presented their professional experience, ideas and projects, and demonstrated the efficiency of modern educational technologies.

The Competition Committee assessed the professional skills, compliance with modern requirements, communication skills of the participants and the level of their professional thinking.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners and prize–winners are:

  • I place - Zh.K. Shakenova, an English teacher of Valeological Specialized School Complex for Gifted Children of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;
  • II place – I.A. Essimkanova, a primary school teacher of Arshaty Secondary School of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district;
  • A. E. Sergazina, a teacher of mathematics of Zharsu Secondary School of Education Department of Zaisan district;
  • Akbota Berikzhankyzy, an English teacher of M. Auezov Akzhar School-Boarding School-College of Education Department of Tarbagatai district.
  • III place – A.B. Omirzakova, an educational psychologist of Maraldy Secondary School of Education Department of Kurchum district;
  • Pazylbek Umit, a counselor of School-Center of Additional Education No. 48 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city;
  • A.E. Alimbekova, an English teacher of Abai Secondary School of Education Department of Tarbagatai district;
  • Okenuly Aibol, a teacher of physics of Kasym Kaissenov Secondary School of Education Department of Ulan district.

Special nominations:

  • “Leader of Ecology” – Zhanatkyzy Erkezhan, a teacher of biology of School Lyceum of Altai town of Education Department of Altai district.
  • “Media psychologist” – G.K. Hamza, an educational psychologist of Secondary School No. 46 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas and certificates of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, and all participants received certificates.

8 winners of the regional round will represent East Kazakhstan region at the Republican Pedagogical Olympiad.
