East Kazakhstan region plans to put into service 7 schools under the National Project “Comfortable School”.
By the end of 2024, building and installation works have been completed in five schools - 2 schools in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, 1 school in Ridder town, 1 school in Glubokoe district, 1 school in Shemonaikha district. Currently, the work is underway at these schools to equip them with the necessary material and technical resources.
The material and technical base (MTB) of the schools includes all the essential resources and equipment needed to support the learning and teaching processes and to create a comfortable environment for students and teachers (educational and methodological materials, information and communication technologies, furniture, sports equipment, safety equipment, etc.).
3 schools were built in order to address the shortage of student places (Secondary School No. 31, Secondary School No. 40 in Ust-Kamenogorsk city and Belousovka Secondary School No. 2) and 2 schools were built to replace outdated buildings (Secondary School No. 12 in Ridder town and Shakarim Comprehensive Secondary School No. 4 in Shemonaikha district)
Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region is currently organizing the educational process in these schools.
Additionally, 2 more comfortable schools are expected to be completed this year – 1 school in Ust-Kamenogorsk city, and 1 school in Glubokoe district. Both schools are being built to address the issue of student place shortages.
