Results of the XX Republican Zerde Competition of Research and Creative Projects for 2nd to 7th Graders in Natural Science and Mathematics

On 27-31 January, 2025, in Shuchinsk city of Akmola region, Daryn Republican Scientific and Practical Center of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan held the XX Republican Zerde Competition of Research and Creative Projects for 2nd to 7th Graders in Natural Science and Mathematics.  

The goal of the competition was to foster children’s research skills and intellectual-creative potential of primary and middle-aged schoolchildren.

Around 300 schoolchildren from all regions of the country participated in the event, competing in two age categories (grades 2-4 and grades 5-7).

The team of East Kazakhstan region was represented by young researchers, winners of the regional round.

According to the results of the Republican Competition, the team of East Kazakhstan region won 9 top places.

First Degree Diplomas went to:

Serik Ayaru - a 7th grader of O. Bokei Kazakh Secondary School of Glubokoe district (mathematics, applied mathematics);

Daniil Kogai - a 7th grader of Regional Specialized School Lyceum for Gifted Children in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science (computer science, robotics, and STEM engineering);

Kira Aksenova - a 4th grader of Valeological Specialized School Complex for Gifted Children (tourism and sports);

Evangeline Solonets - a 4th grader of Valeological Specialized School Complex for Gifted Children (chemistry, biology);

Nazar Shetnikov - a 2nd grader of Valeological Specialized School Complex for Gifted Children (physics, space).

Third Degree Diploma went to:

Marat Serikov - a 4th grader of Valeological Specialized School Complex for Gifted Children (computer science, robotics, STEM engineering);

Ulanuli Yeraly - a 7th grader of Ungraded Secondary School of Zhanaturmys settlement, Zaisan district (tourism and sports);

Olzhas Mukenov - a 3rd grader of Valeological Specialized School Complex for Gifted Children (mathematics, applied mathematics);

 Talgat Alzhan - a 2nd grader of Valeological Specialized School Complex for Gifted Children (mathematics, applied mathematics).
