A panorama of lessons from regional competition “Best local history lesson -2024”

On January 21, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a showcase of lessons from the regional competition “Best local history lesson – 2024”.

The goal of the seminar was to boost the importance of local history studies, exchange teachers’ experiences, and share their best practices.  

The seminar was attended by the winners of the regional round:

- G.A. Kokkozova, a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of Lyceum School No. 1 of Education Department of Ridder town, “Batys Altai memlekettik tabigi korygy”;

- A.S. Bigeldinova, a teacher of history, Sh. Ualikhanov School Lyceum No. 3 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, “Olketanu sabagynda zhasandy intelektini koldanu arkyly okushylardyn kyzygushylygyn arttyru;

- A.Zh. Tagayeva, a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of M. Auezov Boarding School-College of Education Department of Tarbagatai district, “Tumar (Tomiris) turaly anyz”;

- K.M. Bazilbayeva, a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of A. Baitursynov Secondary School of Education Department of Glubokoe district “Menin tugan olkem olender men prozada”;

- S.E. Abenova, a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of S. Lastayev Secondary School of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district, “Menin tugan olkem olender men prozada”;

- I.I. Gadzhiyeva, a teacher of history of Privolnoe Complex School-Nursery-Kindergarten of Education Department of Ulan district, “Features of conducting local history lessons. Teaching practice example based on a history lesson in the 6th grade on the topic “Living witnesses of the history of our homeland.”

The winners exchanged their opinions and shared their experiences. A total of 100 teachers participated in the seminar.
