Meeting of the Board of Directors of technical and vocational education organizations of East Kazakhstan region

On January 16, 2025, Higher College of Kazakh-American Free University LLP (hereinafter referred to as the College) hosted a meeting of the Board of Directors of organizations of the technical and vocational education system of East Kazakhstan region titled “The system of educational work in college and monitoring its effectiveness”.

The meeting presented the reports of D.M. Akhmetov, Captain of Police of Ulba Police Division of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, and S.K. Maltugelov, Senior Special Operations Officer of Drug Crime Control Administration of Police Department of East Kazakhstan region on the interaction of the local police service, Police Department of East Kazakhstan region and the College to prevent student offenses.   

S.M. Aubakirova, Director of Ulba Territorial Center for Social Services, shared insights on using the dual training practice base in the specialty “Social Work” as a platform for volunteer activities by College students. The parents of the students discussed the family-college collaboration to ensure student rights and provide pedagogical support for the educational process.

M.I. Kikina, Director of the College, made a presentation on the educational work system as part of the Birtutas Tarbiye Program: focusing on planning and organization of the educational environment in the College.

S.A. Amangeldina, Deputy Director for Educational Work, shared the college’s experience in monitoring the quality of educational work in the college. Along with the members of the student self-government, she also presented a chatbot designed to prevent deviant and self-destructive behaviors among students.

The meeting resulted in a feedback session, where appropriate recommendations were adopted.
