PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINTER VACATION SCHOOL - 2025

On 5-8 January, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region is hosting a winter vacation school for teachers in online and offline formats with over 3,000 participants expected.

The event aims to provide continuous professional development for teachers, consolidate and disseminate best teaching practices, enhance professional development and offer methodological support. 

The program of the vacation school includes:

- sharing the experiences of the winners of “Uzdik Pedagog Award - 2024”;

- implementing the Reading School Project;

- implementing the Roadmap of East Kazakhstan region for Implementing the National Report “Quality Education for All” for 2024-2029;

- preparing for MODO, PISA and intermediate assessments;

- implementing “Birtutas tarbiye bagdarlamasy”;

- regional events “Single Methodological Day”;

- implementing the action plan to increase motivation to learn the Kazakh language;

- professional competitions.

The speakers are the winners of “Uzdik Pedagog Award – 2024”, methodologists of education department, experienced headmasters, deputy headmasters for educational affairs, teachers,

The target audience is methodologists, heads of educational organizations, deputy headmasters, teachers from preschool, secondary and special education organizations.

Forms of work – training sessions, workshops in offline format, master classes, webinars, methodological platforms.
