About the republican research on inclusive education to explore the opinions of school students and teachers of secondary education organizations of East Kazakhstan region

On 9-12 December, 2024, a research on inclusive education among school students and teachers of secondary education organizations of East Kazakhstan region was conducted with the participation of G.A. Nogaibayeva, a leading researcher from Inclusive Education Department of Y. Altynsarin National Academy of Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The goal of the research was to explore teachers’ and students’ views on inclusive education, assess professional preparation of teachers for inclusive practices, and develop scientific and methodological foundations and a conceptual model for ensuring inclusivity and accessibility of quality education in the secondary education system.

The research involved schoolchildren of grades 4-11 and teachers of Predgornoe Secondary School-Kindergarten of Glubokoe district, M. Shayakhmetov Secondary School No. 23 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city and R. Marsekov Secondary School of Ulan district.
