World Computer Literacy Day

Teaching is a demanding profession, requiring both high responsibility and creativity. Every day, teachers solve many tasks related to their students’ education, upbringing and development. This requires deep subject knowledge and the ability to adapt information and teaching methods to make learning process interesting and accessible. Zhandos P. Kabatov is such a teacher. He is a teacher of computer science at Secondary School 42 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

Zhandos P. Kabatov is a talented teacher and mentor, empowering his students with key IT skills. Every year, his students participate in the IT championship “Skills for geeks”, regularly winning awards in robotics and 3D modeling and showcasing their high level skills and his effective teaching.

His lessons create a positive and respectful atmosphere, where each student feels comfortable expressing their abilities. It is important to note that Zhandos Paishikovich teaches children not only basic knowledge about computers, but also helps them master programming and modeling skills. His approach to learning includes the use of advanced pedagogical technologies to keep his students at the forefront of modern learning.

On December 2, 2024, Zhandos Paishikovich participated in the Altai Tany program on ALTAI TV of East Kazakhstan regional branch of the Republican Television and Radio Corporation “Kazakhstan” JSC. He discussed the significance of World Computer Literacy Day, highlighting the importance of computer skills in the modern world.

Zhandos Paishikovich emphasized that computer literacy is crucial for both professional and personal successful life in our rapidly developing technologies. He also touched upon issues related to teaching children the fundamentals of information technology, programming and modeling - areas actively developed in his lessons. His TV address was an important contribution to the popularization of knowledge and skills related to computer literacy among a wide audience, especially among young people and parents.
