International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Value of Diversity: in Education and Society”

On November 19, 2024, S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University held an international scientific and practical conference titled “The Value of Diversity: in Education and Society”, dedicated to the International Day of Defectologist and the 20th anniversary of the specialty “Defectology” at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.  

The event was attended by special teachers from educational institutions of the region.

The conference showcased best practices of special and inclusive education from domestic and foreign countries (Moscow, St. Petersburg, USA, Germany). A.K. Kubentayeva, the head of Methodological Department of Special, Inclusive Education and Boarding Schools of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Educational Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region presented a report on the topic “Current trends in inclusive education of East Kazakhstan region”.

The event resulted in positive feedback from the participants of the conference, highlighting the importance and relevance of the conference.
