Results of online workshop “Okushylardy ekologiyalyk tarbiyeleudin zamanaui tasili”

On November 1, 2023, as part of the autumn vacation school, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online workshop titled “Okushylardy ekologiyalyk tarbiyeleudin zamanaui tasili”, in order to provide methodological assistance to teachers of geography.

The workshop explored ways to organize experimental work on fostering environmental literacy and culture among schoolchildren, as well as the effective use of new technologies in the classroom.

During the workshop, the following speakers shared their experiences:

- Marzhan M. Amirbekova, a teacher of geography, a teacher-moderator of Asusai Complex School-Kindergarten of Tarbagatai district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;

- Saule K. Kaynbayeva, a teacher of biology and geography, a research teacher of Takyr Basic Secondary School of Markakol district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;  

- Zhanna T. Kisanova, a teacher of geography, a teacher-researcher of Secondary Specialized School No. 45 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region;

- Aisana S. Serikova, a teacher of chemistry, a methodologist, a teacher-moderator of Dauletbai Complex School-Kindergarten of Education Department of Tarbagatai district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.  

In the reflective part of the workshop, the participants highlighted the relevance and practical significance of the topic and shared their methodological recommendations for use in their teaching practice. A total of 31 teachers of geography from regional secondary schools participated in the event.
