Regional seminar “Factors influencing student achievement”

On October 30, 2024, as part of the action plan of the autumn vacation school, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional seminar titled “Factors influencing student achievement” for headmasters, deputy headmasters responsible for educational work from 25 target schools of the region.

The seminar explored the factors that most significantly affect the quality of education.

During the seminar, the following experts shared their work experience:

  1. A.S. Abdrakhmanova, deputy headmaster for academic affairs of Regional Specialized Boarding School for Gifted Children of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region reported on “Improving education quality by knowledge monitoring and assessing in the learning process”;
  2. S.Yu. Tinkova, headmaster of Regional Specialized School for Gifted Children in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region reported on “Key aspects of quality education in educational organization management”;
  3. O.V. Makiyenko, deputy headmaster for academic affairs of Regional Specialized School for Gifted Children in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region reported on “Organizing the educational process: the role of feedback and interaction with parents in ensuring the quality of education”;
  4. G.Zh. Chaldybayeva, a teacher-psychologist of Regional Specialized School for Gifted Children in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region reported on “Psychological aspects of motivation and their impact on the quality of the educational process”.

The seminar resulted in the feedback sessions, where the participants noted the relevance and practical significance of the event. The participants received answers to their questions, as well as methodological recommendations for further use in practice.
