Regional methodological hour “Methodological support for creating inclusive learning environment”

On October 30, 2024, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online methodological hour as part of the autumn vacation school on the topic “Methodological support for creating inclusive learning environment”, focusing on recent amendments and additions to regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning special and inclusive education.

The event was attended by all 13 methodologists of district and city education departments responsible for special and inclusive education. 

During the methodical hour, the head of Methodological Department of Special, Inclusive Education and Boarding Schools A.K. Kubentayeva delved into the amendments and additions to the regulatory legal acts, such as the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education”, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Prevention of Offenses among Minors and Prevention of Child Neglect and Homelessness” and the following orders: the Order No. 178 dated July 12, 2024 of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Approval of Methodological Recommendations for Creating Inclusive Learning Environment in Educational Organizations”, the Order No. 165 dated June 28, 2024 of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Orders”. Additionally, the methodological hour discussed the plans of methodologists responsible for inclusive education, and all participants were provided with recommendations.
