Online seminar titled “Birtutas tarbiye: values and ways to cultivate values”

On October 29, 2024, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held an online seminar titled “Birtutas tarbiye: values and ways to cultivate values” to provide methodological assistance to deputy headmasters responsible for educational work, leaders of school theaters, classroom teachers.

The seminar addressed two key issues, first, “School theaters: experience, future plans” discussing ways to organize children's free time during vacations. The second topic “Preventive work with children under intra-school supervision”.

During the seminar, the following speakers shared their practices on the first topic:

Gulnur S. Shektibayeva, a methodologist for educational affairs of Education Department of Tarbagatai district on “School Theater Project”;

Elena M. Trukhanova, a specialist in additional education, leader of the hobby group of Children's School of Arts of Samar district on “Theatrical play as a means of creative development of children”;

Anastasia N. Sapargaliyeva, leader of the hobby group of Complex-School-Nursery- Kindergarten on the topic “Developing 4K skills through a theatrical hobby group”.

Aizhan A. Kydyrbekova, leader of the hobby group of School-Kindergarten Complex of Akkala settlement of Samar district on the topic “The role of School Theater Project in increasing schoolchildren’s interest in fiction”.

During the seminar, Marina A. Borzenko, deputy headmaster for educational affairs of Shayakhmetov Secondary School No. 23 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, provided a comprehensive overview of the school’s experience on the topic “Preventive work with children under intra-school supervision”, outlining implemented measures and proposing relevant suggestions and recommendations.
