Regional competition “Best Librarian – 2024”

On October 28, 2024, on the occasion of the Republican Professional Holiday of Librarians, as part of the project “Reading School (Reading College)”, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, jointly with Public Association “Local Trade Union of Workers of Education, Higher Education, Science and others budget organizations of East Kazakhstan region” and Technical and Vocational Education Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held the regional competition “Best Librarian – 2024”.

Librarians from 8 schools and 3 colleges participated in the regional round of the competition.

The following winners and nominees were named according to the results of the competition:

First Degree Diploma - Natalya P. Kuznetsova, Library Manager and Zhansaya B. Berikbolova, a librarian of Secondary School No. 2 of Education Department of Ridder town;

Second Degree Diploma – Asem E. Kasymova, Library Manager of M. Auezov Akzhar School-Boarding School-College of Tarbagatai district;

Third Degree Diploma – Asel M. Tulepova, a librarian of Aliya Moldagulova Secondary School of Samar district;

Third Degree Diploma – Maria I. Tyutenkova, a librarian of Soldatovskaya Secondary School of Ulken Naryn district;

In the nomination: “Ushkyr oily kitapkhanashi” – Maira K. Smailova, Library Manager of Secondary School No. 9 of Altai town of Altai district;

In the nomination “Kitapkhanashi – olketanushi” Gulzhupar M. Dalimanova, a librarian of Aksu Secondary School of Katon-Karagai district;

In the nomination “Izdenimpaz kitapkhanashi” - Karlygash K. Kudakenova, a librarian of N. Ostrovsky Secondary School No. 4 of Kurchum district;

In the nomination “Zhanashyl kitapkhanashi” - Laura B. Chyambayeva, Library Manager of Secondary School No. 49 of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

All other participants received certificates.

The winners were awarded diplomas and cash gifts from the Regional Trade Union Organization.
