REGIONAL COMPETITION “BEST LIBRARIAN-2024”

On October 28, 2024, the regional competition “Best Librarian – 2024” was held to enhance the professional skills of librarians in technical and vocational education organizations and general education organizations, foster a strong desire for creative self–improvement and increase the prestige of the profession in the education sector.

The major goals and objectives of the competition were to identify, support and disseminate the innovative experience of librarians creatively working in technical and vocational and general education organizations, and to shape a positive image.

The competition consisted of 2 tasks:  

1) “Bibliolik” visiting card in the form of a video presentation lasting no more than 3 minutes. Participants had to showcase their personal and professional qualities, name their professional credos and provide information about their creative achievements and ideas.

2) Project Defense. Participants independently formulated a topic in accordance with the direction of college library activities, taking into account the implementation of the Reading College Project, gathering best ideas and positive examples of implementing innovative technologies in librarianship.

Following the event, the participants received certificates.
